“Vigorous, adventurous… a cracking show with powerful tracks, with the energy needed to get to the top, this band will be seen on big stages.” – Rolling Stone “Experimental, dynamic, refreshing guitar sound.” – MTV “Swaggering, high energy rock bangers from the London band.” – Rock Sound London-based alt-rockers LEAP announce their signing to Epitaph Records. Hailed by Rolling Stone as a band who “will be seen on big stages,” the band has surpassed 21 million global streams on their self-released debut album ‘Entropy’ released last October. From the padded walls of a psych ward to family tragedy, LEAP’s story proves that through music, friendship, and a healthy dose of luck, it’s possible to navigate life’s ups and downs with grace and gratitude. The band also shares the official music video to “Sinking Feeling”, the lead single off Entropy that fuses upbeat rhythms with honest, dark lyrics, a LEAP signature. They expound: “We’re all kinda broken in our own ways, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a celebration and a temporary pause on that sinking feeling that we all get sometimes, that unexplained sense of dread.” WATCH THE “Sinking Feeling” MUSIC VIDEO BELOW
STREAM ‘Entropy’ HERE “Epitaph is such an iconic label, and everyone we tell starts taking us seriously once we drop the name lol,” frontman Jack “Jacky” Scott comments. “When we started LEAP, we said we were gonna stay fully indie for as long as possible. We’ve spoken to so many labels over the years, but as soon as Epitaph came in it was clear the proposition was on a different level. We’re so proud we managed to chart on our debut album independently, but now we get to go again and build on that with Epitaph’s support. We’re only a few weeks into working together, and it feels like a completely new project already. So excited to have them on board to take this to the next level!” After signing to Capitol and Sony Records with his previous project, lead-singer Jack got a taste of the limelight, both sweet and sour. The false highs of an unsustainable platform soon gave way to unbearable lows, and living with bi-polar disorder, he descended into an extended manic episode. Following countless run-ins with the police and ambulance services, Jacky was eventually sectioned in a psychiatric institution. Sedated and incarcerated for months, he was later released to the news that his project had been dropped by all labels, management and publisher. Empty months of deep depression followed, before his father committed suicide in Edinburgh, plunging him further into unimaginable depths of mental trauma. Inspired by his father’s words, “Don’t flinch. Whatever it is, face it head on. LEAP,” he started writing again and recruited friends to join him in this cathartic process. Consisting of Jack “Jacky” Scott, Hector “Heccy” Cottam (drums), Declan “Deccy” Brown (bass), and Adam “The Pixie” Mason (guitar), LEAP independently released their debut album Entropy on October 3rd, 2025. A raw sonic purge born from the band’s collective pain and their fans’ shared angst, Entropy climbed to Top 20 on German Official Charts and Top 10 in Austria. The sound may be dark at times, the lyrics almost always, but at its core, LEAP is a wholesome message of raucous hope, and people want to be a part of it. Jacky adds, “I actually love replying to the deep messages from fans. It gets heavy sometimes, but the thought of helping someone through their trauma just by sharing mine or knowing that something positive is coming out of the shitstorm I’ve been through. I’d much rather that than it all be for nothing.” LEAP’s trajectory from tumultuous beginnings to breakout success shows no signs of slowing. Following a sold-out European tour in Autumn 2025, the band will do another headline tour across UK and Europe this Spring, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with. LEAP Tour Dates
