Oxfordshire post-hardcore quintet LASTELLE are adding another chapter to their ‘Exist’ project. ‘Exist (Extended Edition)’ will be released 20th November via the band’s own YOU RANG? RECORDS. This new edition incorporates the band’s two ‘Exist’ EPs – vol i and vol ii – with a brand new single ‘Ghosts’ and three Redux / Reprise versions of previously released tracks, with Charlie Rolfe of As Everything Unfolds featuring on ‘Pine (Reprise)’. See below for full tracklisting. Pre-save now.
There will also be a limited 7” available with ‘Ghosts’ on the A-side and the Reprises of ‘Breathe Me In’ and ‘Pine’ on the B-side. Followers of the band can gain early access with an exclusive password at www.lastelleband.com – just ask them on socials!
Guitarist Jonjo Williams explains:
“This release has allowed us to look back on Exist in a new light, and view it in a different way. For us, being able to reinvigorate older material, reinvent current material and release new material has been a really retrospective and rewarding way for us to bring closure to this chapter of the band. Thank you to everyone who has existed with us!”
LASTELLE have cultivated a strong bond with their fans and followers over the past few years, releasing emotionally vulnerable music (including ‘Exist’ vols i and ii) and playing a plethora of festivals across the world. This year saw overwhelmingly poignant sets at 2000Trees and Takedown in the UK and the band even made it to Indonesia and Malaysia for Hammersonic and Metalverse Rock. Last year they played the iconic Download Festival and embarked on their own ‘Exist’ headline tour. LASTELLE are no strangers to a marriage proposal in the pit during their sets either, which shows just how deep fans’ connections with the band run.
In addition to the release, LASTELLE are getting set to hit the road again for an extensive run of dates across the UK & Europe with Half Me in Nov/Dec.
