JOHN SUMMIT & GORGON CITY RELEASE ENERGETIC TRACK “IS EVERYBODY HAVING FUN?” FT. RHYS FROM THE STICKS

OUT TODAY VIA EXPERTS ONLY / REALM RECORDS – LISTEN HERE

June 20th, 2025 (New York, NY) – Today, multi-genre artist and global dance sensation, John Summit, and UK electronic music pioneer duo Gorgon City release their first ever collaboration “Is Everybody Having Fun?” featuring Rhys From The Sticks’ vocals, out now via Darkroom Records/Experts Only/Realm Records.

“Is Everybody Having Fun?” is a club record at its core, easily danceable for the dedicated crowds John Summit has been playing to this year across the world. The song will serve as the perfect soundtrack to summer 2025 for Dance music fans, combining John’s infectious, creative energy and Gorgon City’s UK Garage mastery. Fans can’t wait for this tech house track of the summer.

John Summit and Gorgon City have been friends for years — dating back to 2020 when they did a B2B in Chicago, and when Gorgon City remixed “Where You Are,” which was followed by John remixing “You’ve Done Enough” in 2021. John started teasing “Is Everybody Having Fun?” in April on X with the tweet gaining over 220K+ views, and also during his marathon set at Club Space Miami where he played for over eight hours!

Summit says of the track: “I wanted to make a proper club record to kick off summer and my first Ibiza headline dates so I linked up with the legends Gorgon City to produce this UK inspired tech house tune led by a cool chopped up vocal by rhys from the sticks. The cheeky lyrics “the party’s just begun, is everyone having fun?” I think help remind clubbers on the dancefloor to let loose & have some fun.”

Gorgon City says of the track: “We’ve known John for a while and have been meaning to get a collab done for ages! Seeing him grow into one of the biggest acts in the world has been amazing to see. This one’s been smashing the dances and it’s great to have it coming out ready for festival season!”

John Summit has spent the last two years on a tear, headlining massive shows at Madison Square Garden (sold out two hours upon announcement), Coachella (closing out the Sahara Tent along with an unforgettable Outdoor Theater performance with Dom Dolla as Everything Always), EDC (one solo set and another closing out the festival B2B with Green Velvet), two sold-out shows at Cow Palace in San Francisco, and two sold-out shows (with a third show added) at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. With Comfort in Chaos leaving a mark and ejecting him into the mainstream (debuting at #2 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and #39 on the Billboard 200), Summit will continue to trot around the globe while playing his hits for the masses, such as HAYLA collaborations “Shiver,” and RIAA-gold certified “Where You Are.”

About John Summit

John Summit is one of the most sought-after names in global dance music. The superstar DJ, producer, and label owner has nearly one billion all time global streams across his catalog, two #1 US dance radio hits, two Top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot Electronic/Dance Songs chart, and sold-out shows across the globe, including BMO Stadium in Los Angeles (22,000) in the fall of 2023 and Madison Square Garden (17,000) in New York City coming up later this summer, with tickets selling out in under two hours. Whether he’s headlining a sold-out show or an intimate club, the Chicago native, now based in Miami, brings his signature brand of high-octane spirit everywhere he goes. However, behind the larger-than-life persona is a thoughtful, details-oriented artist who once worked as a CPA by day and taught music production tutorials by night. As a recording artist, he logs long hours in the studio, perfecting each of his dynamic songs. He’s toured the world, closing out huge festivals including headlining the Sahara Stage at Coachella 2024, and putting on his own shows in unparalleled locations like the slopes of Vail Mountain and the Caverns in Tennessee as part of his label Experts Only. One of the top touring acts in the world, Summit also has a keen interest in the underground scene, and Experts Only is part of his commitment to platforming the next generation of dance music talent. With global hits “Where You Are” (feat. HAYLA), “Human” (feat. Echoes) and “Go Back” w/ Sub Focus (feat. Julia Church) under his belt, Summit released his hugely anticipated debut album Comfort In Chaos, on July 12th via Experts Only/Darkroom. The album, encapsulating themes of vice and virtue, highs and lows, total human duality, sees the artist revealing the man behind the icon, injecting his usual body-first approach to dance music with genuine heart and emotion.

About Gorgon City

Comprising of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, Gorgon City have entrenched themselves in global club culture, offering a heady mix of big room house and underground bassline. With 10 BRIT-certified singles including 1XPlatinum and 2x Gold and over 1.5 billion collective streams in their repertoire, the core values of Gorgon City stay uncompromised. The proof lies in their activity. Sold-out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (with a spring 2023 follow-update) LA’s The Shrine, a 16 week Ibiza Amnesia residency, a sold-out Printworks, Drumsheds and Brooklyn Mirage shows. The duo have proven their music is equally fitting for sound systems of both open air arenas and underground raves. An intense period of global touring followed, incorporating DJ sets and full live shows ticked off bucket list with performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, The Warehouse Project, and Circus, as well as a residency at Ibiza’s Amnesia. Kye and Matt continued to work on new material during this period, squeezing in studio sessions between shows and working via laptops when on the go. The formation of record label, REALM, offered a space for the pair to explore more rugged, underground sounds, recently celebrating breakout hit ’Somebody To Love’ from Ben Kim with BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM playlists. Meanwhile, the huge success of Gorgon City’s acid-leaning ‘Real Life’ collaboration with Duke Dumont and NAATIONS saw their star rising further and faster. Twelve years into the game, Gorgon City are delving even deeper into underground house and techno sounds, proving that, while they can create chart hits, they can also deliver for even the darkest of dance floors
