JETSKI
RELEASE EMOTIONALLY-CHARGED VIDEO FOR ‘CURBSIDE’

FOR THE FAMILY EP OUT NOW

Sheffield’s JETSKI have released their music video for the emotionally-charged new single ‘Curbside‘.

The track is taken from the four-piece’s debut EP For the Family, which saw the light of day last week.

On the new single, Charles Fitzgerald explains:

“‘Curbside’ is a new direction for us as we are primarily known for our bouncy, sunshine driven energy. ‘Curbside’ was a chance for us to show we can slow things down, draw people in and out of different emotional environments multiple times throughout a song. This is us opening the door into a more personal world that we intend to keep open moving forward.”

On the direction of the music video, he continues:

“This is without a doubt our largest scale video production yet, the song is huge so we needed a video to compliment that. It’s the first time we’ve not written or had complete control over the narrative, working with Aaran Mckenzie from While She Sleeps made that so comfortable, his framing of our ideas while implementing his own throughout has resulted in something truly beautiful and we can’t thank him enough for it.”

JETSKI – ‘Curbside’
Following a span of multiple sold out hometown shows, Spotify editorial fame and a constant stream of bangers, the northern rock quartet recently released their debut EP For The Family last week with ‘Joey and Zoe‘ as the EPs first single.

“We recorded our EP with Jim Pinder (Bring Me The HorizonWhile She SleepsMalevolence) and as soon as we put it down we knew ‘Joey and Zoe’ had to be the first single. I think it showcases a little bit of all the music that inspires us and the directions we aim to head in moving forward”.

Built to combat the grey tones of Sheffield’s industrial landscape, JETSKI’s bloodline blends sunshine-filled, emo-tinted rock with indie sensibilities. Debuting in the summer of 2019 with single ‘Easy Peeler’, JETSKI quickly obtained the attention of festivals such Ynot and 2Q.

JETSKI will also have headline shows on 7th November in Liverpool’s Jacaranda Club, and the 25th and 26th in Sheffield’s Yellow Arch.
