Jeremie Albino’s Our Time In The Sun is the culmination of a remarkable journey, one that began on a farm in rural Ontario. After years slinging veggies at a farmers markets in Toronto, Albino began performing on the city’s streets and beyond, spending years busking throughout Europe – trading songs for lodging. The back and forth between him and the many fleeting crowds sparked a love of performing, one that he channeled into live shows that grew steadily from passerby to packed rooms. As for Auerbach, he produced this new collection after a chance encounter with Albino’s music online that left him mesmerized: “It was a dream. His voice was amazing. I instantly loved his style and charisma — I didn’t know it could just be so real.” |
