January Blues Festival 2026 returns to 229 London taking place between 3rd January 2026 – 24th January 2026.

This year’s festival will see it return to 229, Great Portland Street, Central London and officially start on Saturday 3rd January 2026 for a total of nineteen nights of a diverse Blues music lineup.
Host and DJ for this incredible line up is Snowboy playing Chicago Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Blues Rock and more.

For almost a decade, AGMP Concerts have been presenting a celebration of Blues Music in London, United Kingdom. From the early days of The London Blues Week to the now month-long January Blues Festival, AGMP are dedicated to keeping the sound of live Blues music alive in the capital.

This is a standing show except for limited seating down the sides of the room. This seating is generally booked for those with access requests and once those specific requests are dealt with, there may be some seats left over on a first come first served basis. They cannot be reserved. External folded seats or similar will not be permitted in the venue.

Age Restrictions: This event is for 18 and over – No refunds will be issued for under 18s.
Travel Guide:
The Hammersmith & City/Circle and Metropolitan Lines go to Great Portland Street – 300 feet away from the venue.
The Bakerloo Line stops at Regent’s Park Station – 0.1 miles from the venue.
The Victoria and Northern Lines stop at Warren Street – 0.4 miles away.
There are plenty of direct buses from West and East London running along Euston Road plus buses running north to south, going down Great Portland Street and vice versa.
Night Tube services now run on Victoria Line (Warren Street Station) and Central Line (Oxford Circus Station) on Fridays and Saturdays. There’s an extensive night bus service operating nearby. Please check the TFL website if unsure.
The venue does not have any customer parking at the venue; however, there are many side streets around the venue, most of which offer free parking after 6:30 pm. We recommend Park Crescent and Outer Circle.
The festival boasts artists from across the UK, Europe and North America and highlights will include:
- A headline show from The Animals. Founding member and drummer with the group John Steel now leads his own version of the legendary band.
- Band of Friends, a celebration of the music and legacy of Rory Gallagher featuring his long-term bassist, Gerry McAvoy.
- Two London exclusive dates for Eric Bibb prior to the release of his forthcoming album ‘One Mississippi’, which is set for worldwide release on January 30, 2026, via Repute Records.
- A co-headline London date from guitarists Danielle Nicole and Malina Moye as part of their ‘The Love You Bleed/Dirty’ January 2026 UK Tour.
- An Exclusive UK date for Denmark’s premier Blues-roots-rockers Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado. They have released their brand-new album ‘House of Sticks’ which is out now via Provogue / Mascot Label Group.
- Two London Exclusive Dates from Scottish Blues-Rock band King King with special guests Little Odetta direct from France who will be performing their UK debut concerts.
- Two Exclusive Dates for Blues/Jazz guitarist Robben Ford who has five GRAMMY nominations, a four-decade-long solo career, and a resume that includes Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Michael McDonald, John Mayall, Bob Dylan, Gregg Allman, Susan Tedeschi, Mavis Staples, Keb’ Mo’, Phil Lesh, Jimmy Witherspoon, George Harrison and many more.
- Nine Below Zero will be performing a very special Exclusive ‘Don’t Point Your Finger’ 45th Anniversary Concert with special guest Peter Clark
- An Exclusive Headline Date for the legendary Ten Years After including original drummer Ric Lee where they will be celebrating their 60th anniversary.
