Hot on the heels of Jack J Hutchinson releasing his ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’ EP/DVD to rave reviews from critics and fans alike, he embarks on a 10 date tour taking in some of his favourite venues and ones the blues rock guitar slinger has never played before.

Always serving up an engaging live show, the ever crowd pleasing Hutchinson is joined by a new line up in Phil Wilson (Sari Schorr, Bernie Marsden) on drums and Charley Rachel Kay (Ashley Sherlock) on bass. “I am incredibly grateful to all the musicians that have played a part in my journey and am pleased to welcome on board Phil and Charlie. It’s always exciting playing with new musicians and the different dynamics they bring to my songs.” Guitarist magazine has called Jack “A name to watch out for”.

Jack enthuses, “Writing a song is just the starting point, and it is a real joy seeing how they evolve in the hands of others. Phil and Charlie have also helped push me to another level and we’ve been absolutely smashing it in rehearsals. I can’t wait for people to hear how the new band sounds.” The tour will also feature special guests in a mixture of NWOCR and modern rock bands Trouble County, White Raven Down and Firekind on select dates.

Having achieved an Amazon Blues Chart #1 placing, the new studio recording ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’, a 4 track box set mixed by legendary producer Kevin Shirley, followed his critically acclaimed album ‘The Hammer Falls’. It includes new versions of three of the songs from its predecessor, plus the brand new full-tilt rocker ‘Days Of Thunder’ (a Classic Rock Track of The Week) and is available via Eyesore Merch.

“To be given the opportunity to work with Kevin Shirley was a dream come true. He’s produced some of my favourite artists, including Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and The Black Crowes, so I jumped at the chance!” Laughs the UK based hard blues rock/singer/guitarist, “Kevin gave the tracks a new sense of energy and power and I’m super pleased with the results of our collaboration.”

Early this year featured Jack making his first USA appearances at the industry renowned NAMM festival in southern California and international tours have won passionate fans in Brazil, Spain, Russia, France and Germany. Having previously shared stages with Blackberry Smoke, Monster Truck, Kris Barras Band to name a few, festival appearances have encompassed Ramblin’ Man Fair, Loverocks and Planet Rock Winter’s End to emphatic ovations.
