Italian band Benthos releases fourth single “Let Me Plunge” from upcoming album “From Nothing”, to be released April 11^th2025, via InsideOutMusic

The wait is almost over: Italian quintet Benthos are unveiling with “Let Me Plunge” the next and last puzzle piece from their upcoming album “From Nothing”, which will be fully released April 11^th, via InsideOutMusic. Focusing on themes of self-discovery and transcendence, the single “Let Me Plunge” captures the intense journey of breaking free from inner turmoil through an energetic progressive piece, furthermore establishing Benthos’ unique sound. “From Nothing” will have 12 tracks in total and is available for pre-order. Prior releases from this record are “Fossil”, “Pure”, and “As A Cordyceps”.

To celebrate the release of “From Nothing”, Benthos will be having a release show in Milan, Italy, May 1^st, 2025, at Circolo Magnolia. Fans can expect to hear tracks from the record for the first time live. The band will be supported by Sunpocrisy and Apple Sauce. The event will be concluded with a techno/drum & bass focused after-party.

About Benthos

Benthos is an experimental progressive metal band from Milan, Italy. Formed in 2018, the quintet gained recognition in the Italian metal scene by opening for The Contortionist in 2019 in their home country. Their debut album, “II”, released in 2021, is defined by its technical edge, complex rhythms, and heavy, dynamic guitar work balanced with serene, melodic interludes. Benthos’ live performances, described as hypnotic and chaotic, have taken them across Italy and Europe, including a notable appearance at Milan’s Dissonance Festival in 2023. While working on their sophomore record “From Nothing”, Benthos signed with label InsideOutMusic, which marks a significant milestone for the Italian band. Their first single output under their new label, “Fossil”, was met with great praise and interest within the modern progressive music scene for their upcoming record. “From Nothing” will be the band’s second album and will be released April 11^th, 2025, via InsideOutMusic.
