Italian alt-rock trio STUNT PILOTS have released new track ‘BIG MOUTH’ alongside a music video, and hinted at the release of their debut album later this year.
“At times words can feel like landmines, like you’re constantly walking on eggshells, afraid that saying the wrong thing will blow everything up. The song explores the struggle of nitpicking words instead of embracing the deeper love within, encouraging listeners to choose connection over conflict,” says the band about the new track.
For the music video, the band wanted to capture the essence of a nostalgic yet fresh pop summer from the 2000s. “We chose to lighten the original concept of the song, which revolves around toxic communication dynamics, and instead convey a sense of lightness, from the point of view of someone who doesn’t want to take things too seriously,” says the band.
‘BIG MOUTH’ is the third new track to be released by STUNT PILOTS this year, following ‘BAD JET’ and ‘GET ROWDY’, with the band hinting at this being the lead up to the release of their long-awaited debut album later this year.
Stunt Pilots are an explosive alt-rock trio born in Milan in 2020. With roots as street performers and musical training in Berlin, they were runners up on X Factor 2023 (Italia), racing into a series of sold-out concerts that further solidified their image in the music scene.
Their EP ‘Dirty Laundry’ (2023) and follow up EP ‘THE TAKEOFF’ (2024) serve as a manifesto of their raw energy and urge to break free from comfort zones, confirming Stunt Pilots as an unstoppable force. More than just a band, Stunt Pilots represent a mindset; a rebellion against the passive uniformity of today’s world.
