Iron Mind have been torchbearers of the Australian hardcore scene for nearly twenty years. The Melbourne based band’s sonic fury and pragmatic lyrics hit hard on their album, Test Of The Iron Mind, released through Flatspot Records (worldwide) and Last Ride Records (AUS) in June 2025. Since then, the band has played shows across Australia including supporting Turnstile and Basement at a sold out show to kick off 2026. Now, Iron Mind are gearing up for a headline run across the country this week and have unleashed a music video for the clobbering opening two tracks of the aforementioned LP, “Intro / More Pain.”
Directed and edited by Iron Mind, the video uses a mix of archival footage to illustrate the record’s powerful opening monologue. Things come full force, in a powerful, mosh-fueled performance from the band, setting the bar of what to expect from these upcoming shows.
You can watch the video HERE and check out the band’s tour dates below.
Iron Mind is Sam Octigan (vocals), Neil Bloem (guitar), Akira Asahina (guitar), Josh Barclay (drums), and Dan Collins (bass).
