Australian hardcore mainstays Iron Mind have released Assume Your Ultimate Form, out now on Flatspot Records. The two track single marks the band’s first new music in 9 years, following their 2014 self-titled record. The songs pack a raw, aggressive energy with groove-driven guitars and a pragmatic lyrical approach. Focused and direct, “Assume Your Ultimate Form” and “Spiral of Debt” (watch the video) usher in a new path for the future of Iron Mind. Assume Your Ultimate Form was recorded in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, AUS with Sam Johnson at The Black Lodge Studio and then mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit. It can be streamed HERE and is available for purchase on cassette via Flatspot Records and through Last Ride Records in Australia.

Iron Mind is set to head out on tour across Australia supporting No Warning next week, full dates below. Having played yearly one off shows in Melbourne, this marks the band’s first proper tour since 2014. Previously they’ve headlined across the continent as well as supported Backtrack, Harm’s Way and more in the US that same year. Not settling on nostalgia, Iron Mind is bringing 110% on record and in their live performance, with a fresh mindset and some serious riffs.
