Hailing from the depths of Canada, Killing of a Sacred Deer has emerged to create the best of deathcore and metallic hardcore. Sharing members with Serration, World Of Pleasure, Mortality Rate, and Secret & Whisper, it’s no surprise the band has yielded a heavy and unsettling sound. Today, they make their debut with single “Devotion” featuring guest vocals from Jess Nyx. On the track, the band wastes no time kicking into earth-shattering blast beats, crushing guitars, and futuristic moments. Vocalist Colter’s delivery shifts between guttural and traditionally heavy, with Nyx’s signature style meeting halfway through the song. You can listen to it HERE.
Killing of a Sacred Deer will release their namesake EP on September 6th. While details are scarce, except more guest features and lyrics that drive from horror, video games and religious babble.
