In Memory is preparing to release their newest single “Death’s Grip” on April 25, “Death’s Grip” is about addiction & the hold that it can have on someone. This one is personal to me because I have dealt with this in my life and have overcome it.” Jynx says regarding the single. “I wrote this as sort of a warning to listeners of the dangers and potential outcome of living day to day with addiction without wanting or asking for help.”
In Memory pushes boundaries within their music and artist expression, drawing inspiration from bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and Wage War. The band pummels through with engaging hooks and high energy as they gear up for the release of their first ever EP, This Place Is Real, produced by Robbie Litchfield of Hell Here Studios and Saving Vice. “This Place Is Real is the story of dealing with the grip of addiction, while powering constant mental health struggles.” Says Jynx regarding the upcoming EP Trying to find a place in this world while dealing with those things is extremely challenging, but not impossible.
