“Catchy choruses, caustic wit and clever production that captures their ferocious live sound”
The Sunday Times
“With a Dream Wife quirk, a Breeders vintage touch and a contemporary punk attitude, this record acts as the modern soundtrack to a young punks life”
Bristol based punk rock trio, IDestroy, release their new single “All My Friends Are Plastic” today, Friday 27 October. The track was produced by Jay Hill and mastered by Katie Tavini and you can listen HERE and watch the video HERE
Bec (vocalist/guitarist) has said of the track: It’s a story of a love-hate relationship with a mannequin…”I kept a smashed up mannequin in my car for months after using it as a prop in one of our music video shoots. I wasn’t sure what to do with it but kinda liked it being in my car and didn’t want to throw it away. Naturally, I wrote a song about this and we ended up using it in yet another music video. It still lives in my car a year later.”
Alongside Bec are Nic (bassist) and Jenn (drums) who have previously released the album “We Are Girls” in 2021 to critical acclaim. “All My friends …” is the first track to be taken from their second album which will be released in 2024.
