From reserved beginnings to a seizing climax, Hevenshe’s 4th offering since June, mirrors the velocity of love at first sight, with a promise both generous and chilling to be loved like you’ve never been loved before. McDougall says of the writing process “Each lyric is a moment savoured and stored in notes for years before the song would be fully realised. My ultimate fantasy is headlining a festival on a rainy night, this song is my soundtrack to that vision” Sung in a single note melody until an ending deserving of choirs, fireworks and all things grandiose, Hevenshe delivers both her most intimate and gripping offering yet. |
