(Hed) P.E. Set To Reunite With DJ Product 1969 On Upcoming DETOX West Coast Tour & Release New Video For “No Way Out”
Southern California’s trailblazing G-Punk veterans, (Hed) P.E. have announced their plans to reunite with DJ Product 1969 on their upcoming DETOX West Coast Tour in January. The reunion will mark the return of Doug “DJ Product © 1969” Boyce to the stage
for the California dates of the tour with support from fellow Suburban Noize alumni Johnny Richter and Stacc Styles. DJ Product 1969
was an original member of (Hed) P.E. from 1994 through 2013, and would later record a guest appearance on the band’s “Class of 2020” album.
“I rank DJ Product as one of my top five artistic influences; so, anytime i can get him to rock with us live on stage its a fucking party,” said frontman Jared Gomes.
(Hed) P.E. are touring in support of their recently released new album “DETOX”, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes metal charts upon release.
(Hed) P.E. have also released a new animated music video for “No Way Out,” online today. The video is the next chapter in the animated movie “Detox: Planet Earth.” Each song from the band’s album serves as a chapter in the film’s storyline, transporting fans to a dystopian realm where corporations and the government conspire to exploit the masses.

“DETOX” was recorded at frontman Jared Gomes’ private studio compound, where he meticulously crafted each track alongside production and songwriting partner Remy Dovianus. Renowned mixing and mastering expert Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Deftones, Static-X) lent his expertise to the project, while Jim “Taz” Evans, known for iconic concert posters for Nine Inch Nails, Ramones, Smashing Pumpkins, and Foo Fighters, provided the striking cover art and packaging.
“DETOX” pays homage to (Hed) P.E.’s G-Punk roots, capturing the frenetic energy and signature elements of their unique sound. Ulrich Wild’s masterful mix seamlessly melds raw aggression, hip-hop influences, and hardcore vibes, delivering a sonically cohesive experience.
