RISING HEAVY MUSIC DISRUPTOR SHOWING TEETH RELEASES NEW SINGLE “BAD EXCHANGES” — LISTEN

A FATE WORSE THAN LONELINESS EP ARRIVES SEPTEMBER 4 — PRE-ORDER/PRE-SAVE HERE

ANNOUNCES JOINT SIGNING BETWEEN REPUBLIC RECORDS + SPINEFARM

ON TOUR WITH PRESIDENT THIS FALL

After quietly emerging as one of extreme music’s most talked-about artists this year, acclaimed Nashville-based sonic alchemist SHOWING TEETH unleashes a venomous new single in the form of “Bad Exchanges.”

Listen here.

Additionally, she has signed a freshly minted partnership with Republic Records and Spinefarm — as officially announced today.

Next up, SHOWING TEETH will unveil her much-anticipated debut EP, A Fate Worse Than Loneliness, dropping on September 4 via Republic Records + Spinefarm. Pre-order/Pre-save here.

On “Bad Exchanges,” a woozy beat anxiously tosses and turns beneath her seething verses. Distortion groans, electronics squeal, and a chugging detuned groove explodes in tandem with a high-pitched scream. Amidst the chaos, raw emotion spills out like blood from an open wound as she wonders: “Why can’t I just be happy? This feeling always ends.” It concludes with an unbridled burst of intense catharsis awash in grainy feedback.

Stay tuned for the premiere of an equally powerful music video to accompany the track.

The song lands in the wake of “Rip,” which has already amassed over 1 million streams and counting. Revolver touted it among the 6 Best New Songs Right Now,” raving: “Beyond that textual heaviness, Showing Teeth goes next level berserk with her feral shrieks.”

This fall, she will hit the road as support to President on the band’s sold-out North American Campaign 2026 for six weeks across North America. This run commences on September 4 in Nashville, TN at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and closes out on October 14 in Dallas, TX at House of Blues Dallas. All dates are below.

ABOUT SHOWING TEETH
Showing Teeth can project unfiltered feeling with either a jarring deathcore screech or a scarred, yet soothing melody. This control of the unpredictable has established the Kentucky-born and Nashville-based artist as an extreme music alchemist of the highest order, casting a spell that’s both intense and irresistible. She has gone from personally recording screams in her Honda Accord to making a viral impact with “Labyrinth” and “Rip,” tallying millions of streams and inciting the applause of Revolver and more. At the same time, she captivated audiences on stage, opening for Bring Me the Horizon in Manchester and appearing at festivals a la Chippewa Valley Rock Fest, Upheaval Fest, and more. On her own terms, she attracted both Spinefarm and Republic Records to her corner in an unprecedented alliance. Now, she caps off a breakout 2026 by supporting President on tour and unveiling her incisive, impassioned, and inimitable debut EP, A Fate Worse Than Loneliness.
