A Tribute To Italian Composer Ennio Morricone
(OCTOBER 14, 2022, 5pm GMT) – International superstar cellist HAUSER has shared “Theme for Ennio,” a touching tribute to his dear friend, Italian composer Ennio Morricone, performed with and composed by Ennio’s son, composer, conductor and pianist, Andrea Morricone – listen here. Andrea pays homage to his father, the late Maestro Ennio Morricone with this delicate and heartfelt performance, and today the pair release a beautiful music video that includes brief footage of Ennio Morricone – watch here.
Andrea Morricone has become well known for his work in both the conducting and composition fields, his most famous perhaps, is his collaboration with his father on the BAFTA Award winning “The Love Theme” from Cinema Paradiso.
Revered globally for his spectacular and rule-breaking live performances, HAUSER has made a name for himself by honouring those who have come before him, and at the same time paving the way for the future. On his new album, he skillfully merges popular hits with timeless classics in a fresh way, engaging with cross-generational audiences by consistently blending genres.

Recently he performed at the Venice Film Festival’s closing ceremony. and at Classic FM’s Movie Music concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
