The hotly-tipped, alt-pop artist Harpy has today announced her forthcoming debut EP, ‘VII’, set for release on 7th November. Inspired by the legacy of the seven deadly sins, ‘VII’, is a seven part exploration of vice and desire, with each track being a reflection of Harpy’s transgressions: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth.

Speaking of her debut EP, ‘VII’, Harpy shares, “This record is a chance for me to repent my sins, for the whole world to see.”

Alongside the announcement of her upcoming EP, Harpy has shared its first single, ‘Last Time.’ Co-written with Juan Ariza (Julia Michaels, Dua Lipa, Ingrid Michaelson) and Milkie Way (Wargasm), and produced by Sam Matlock (Wargasm) and Pieter Rietkerk, ‘Last Time’ is a terrifying anthem – made even more haunting by guttering screams and chainsaw samples woven throughout the track.

Speaking of the track, Harpy shares, “Last Time is the sin of LUST. During the writing process, we called it Apocalypse. It’s about the darkest of desires, a magnetic pull to the passions of the flesh, hedonistic, wanting on to feel ultimate euphoria and stopping at nothing until I achieve it. If you’re going to f*** me, you better f*** me like it’s the end of the world, like its the last time”

Harpy is fast becoming a dominant force in alternative music, captivating audiences with her provocative performances and electrifying fusion of genres. Affectionately dubbed the “Goth Metal Mommy” by a devoted fanbase, her music is fierce, theatrical, and impossible to ignore. She describes her sound as “femme fatale goth rock”—a dark, seductive blend of industrial, alt-pop, and rock that pulses with raw, magnetic energy.

Selected as one of Kerrang! Magazine’s ‘Ones to Watch 2025’, Harpy is making serious waves with standout tracks like “Slaughterhouse,” “Medicine,” and “Not My God Anymore”, each showcasing her signature blend of menace and melody. In 2024, she boldly expanded her sound with “Born To Destroy” – a dance-pop-infused anthem that plays like the soundtrack to a vampire warehouse rave, earning critical acclaim and cementing her as a genre-defying powerhouse.

Harpy’s momentum has only accelerated, having toured across the UK and Europe with heavy-hitters like WARGASM and Cassyette, headlined a sold-out debut show in London, and commanded stages at festivals including 2000 Trees. This June, she’ll hit another major milestone with her debut appearance at Download Festival 2025 – a defining moment in her rapid ascent.

With over 44 million views on TikTok and a growing buzz from worldwide media outlets, Harpy is more than a rising star – she’s a sonic wrecking ball. Featured on key playlists including Spotify’s ‘Misfits 2.0’, Apple Music’s ‘Breaking Rock’, and Amazon’s ‘Alt Scene’, she’s turning heads across the industry.

Harpy isn’t here to blend in – she’s here to tear it up, burn the rulebook, and reshape the scene on her own fearless terms.
