Today, Connecticut band Hard Feelings have announced their forthcoming EP, The Devil You Know, set for release September 29th on Heroes + Martyrs. The four songs are a raucous blend of hardcore, punk, and thrash metal delivered with bite. Early single “Living Hell” gave a look into the record’s aggressions, and today the band shares “Pray For Forgiveness.” The track goes heavy out the gate with menacing guitars and a spitfire vocal delivery reminiscent of bands like Death Threat and End It. Speaking on the themes of the EP, the band commented: “Our goal is always to create an outlet for people to be able to listen and relate to what we’re putting out. We ourselves use it as an outlet to be able to take out the frustrations of everyday life. Life can be Hell. Waking up everyday and being slapped in the face by the world all while struggling with the devil on your shoulder.” The Devil You Know was recorded and mixed by Will Hirst of Gate 4 Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright of Audiosiege. It is available for preorder now through Heroes + Martyrs. Hard Feelings is Zach McCormack – Vocals, Jamie Malok – Guitar, Mike Magas – Guitar, Murph – Bass, and Alex Malok – Drums. | ||||||||||||||||
