Chicago hardcore band Hold My Own come out swinging on new single “No Respect Due” out today through DAZE. In just over two minutes the band lay out oscillating rhythms laced with down-tuned riffs and an intense breakdown for the strongest of moshers. Vocalist Gregory Falchetto’s tough delivery is met by Sunami’s Josef Alfonso’s throaty approach as the two crush through lyrics of contempt. The track was recorded, mixed & engineered by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, Illinois and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege with additional engineering by Jayway & Nico LaCorcia. The band have a number of upcoming shows alongside bands including Judge and Incendiary, and festival appearances at RBS, Overcome, and Tied Down. Tonight the band will play a hometown show in Chicago at Subterranean with Sector that also serves as a benefit.
