NASHVILLE, TN. / LONDON, U.K. — (July 22, 2025) — Alabama-raised singer/songwriter Hannah McFarland has been announced as the support act on Riley Green’s upcoming UK tour this September. This marks another major milestone in what’s already been a breakout year for McFarland, who continues to gain acclaim for her deeply honest songwriting and magnetic live performances.

The tour news follows the spring release of McFarland’s highly anticipated debut EP, Broken Hearts, a five-song collection that charts an emotional journey from heartache to healing. Produced primarily by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe), the EP explores the pain of loss, the power of faith, and the life-affirming joy of finding new love, endlessly revealing the deep sensitivity and profound sense of purpose at the heart of McFarland’s songwriting.

“My whole vision for Broken Hearts was to put words to these difficult feelings we all experience, so other people can feel less alone,” says McFarland. “The songs go through the lowest lows of heartbreak to the point of finding love again.”

Her touring resume this year has been just as impressive. After supporting Dylan Marlowe and Conner Smith on their spring co-headlining ‘Did We Just Become Best Friends?’ Tour, McFarland was announced as an opener for Chase Rice’s fall U.S. run. She has also previously shared the stage with artists including Kip MooreTucker WetmoreZach Bryan, and Ty Myers, and joined Green earlier this year for a special performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

In June, McFarland returned to CMA Fest in Nashville for a full-band set on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage, where she debuted her new duet with Brett Young, ‘In Case You Didn’t Know 2.0’, a fresh take on his beloved hit that McFarland helped co-write for the re-release.

This upcoming UK tour with Riley Green adds an international chapter to her fast-rising story. With emotionally resonant songwriting and a devoted grassroots following, McFarland continues to carve her path as one of country music’s most compelling new artists.

ABOUT HANNAH McFARLAND:

In the tradition of country’s greatest songwriters, Hannah McFarland has a divine gift for bringing an unexpected beauty to moments of heartbreak. The daughter of a cowboy and a portrait artist, the Alabama native took up guitar at age 15 and quickly began opening for country superstars like Kelsea Ballerini and Travis Tritt, immediately dazzling audiences with her warm charisma and soul-soothing vocal work. After years of honing her chops through countless gigs on Nashville’s live circuit, she began releasing her original songs and soon inked a joint global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and The Core Entertainment. As she made her way into the country spotlight — including joining Zach Bryan onstage for a duet of his Grammy-winning smash with Kacey Musgraves “I Remember Everything” and teaming up with singer/songwriter Austin Snell for his heavily playlisted single “I’ve Been Drinking” — McFarland also signed to The Core Records/Capitol Records and made her major-label debut with “Hey Highway” in fall 2024. Mainly produced by Will Bundy (Keith Urban, Kameron Marlowe) and recorded live with an A-list lineup of Nashville musicians, her debut EP Broken Hearts arrived in February 2025 and delivered standouts like her achingly poignant single “Whiskey Into Water.” With her live experience including touring with hitmakers like Tucker Wetmore and Kip Moore, and a performance with Riley Green at the Grand Ole Opry, McFarland is now gearing up to take the stage at major summer festivals like Boots and Hearts and Country Jam.
