20th October 2023 – New York, NY – Just a few weeks following the announcement of his latest halfnoise full-length studio album – City Talk due out November 17th via Congrats – Zac Farro is premiering the official music video for the LP’s latest single “Love Fire” today – watch HERE. The clip has Farro dancing around the city to the groove laden track which was co-directed by Farro and frequent collaborator, filmmaker AJ Gibboney (Brittany Howard, Louis Prince, Pentatonix). “Love Fire” is “One of my favorite collaborations on the album,” said Farro who wrote the song in LA with Jared Solomon (Remi Wolf).
Perhaps best known as the drummer for Grammy-nominated band Paramore, Farro has been recording and releasing music under the moniker halfnoise for over a decade now. City Talk is his fifth full-length and showcases the versatile musician’s artistry and intentionality as he steps into the roles of songwriter, frontman, and co-producer. In addition to Jared Solomon, Farro collaborated with Henry Solomon (HAIM) and tapped Daniel McNeil (White Denim, Mac DeMarco) to mix and co-produce, while Adam Grover (Zach Bryan, Surfaces, Rainbow Kitten Surprise) mastered the 11-song set.
With a talented team of musicians and producers by his side, Farro brought the SoCal-infused vision of City Talk to life, creating an album that is as sharply composed as it is emotionally resonant.
