Genre-blending singer-songwriter Georgia Webster reaches new depths of vulnerability with the release of her third EP, SIGNS, out now (LISTEN HERE). Battling the “will they, won’t they” complexities of today’s “situationships”—”relationships without commitment, ultimately leaving one party confused and heartbroken despite the reassurance of feelings from the other”, defines Webster—the songstress encapsulates the realities of modern dating in the eight-song collection.

A writer on all but one track, Webster showcases her well-rounded artistry through her piercing, emotive vocals and profound storytelling lyricism. From “This Ain’t A Breakup” to “Wedding Song,” Webster’s firsthand point of view on each of the featured tracks allows the listener to develop an idea of the reasons, or signs, she was looking to stay in the relationship, while he was simultaneously looking to get out.

Working alongside renowned producer King Henry (Sasha Sloan, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer, Beyonce), Webster developed a more mature sound that captures the essence of her cross-genre influences and direction she is looking to go as an artist. Joining the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, and Lennon Stella, who all share the empowering female perspective of broken relationships, Webster is “breaking musical boundaries” (Entertainment Focus) as she embarks on the next phase of her musical evolution.

“My third EP, SIGNS, is the best music I’ve made to date and I’m so excited for it to finally be out in the world. King Henry is one of my dream producers so being able to collaborate with him on the whole project was such a surreal experience—and I think we really created something special. These songs are straight from the heart!!” says Webster.

ABOUT GEORGIA WEBSTER:
A native of tiny Hampden, MA, Georgia Webster grew up listening to a variety of music —from John Mayer and Miley Cyrus to Taylor Swift, Keane, and Eva Cassidy—finding a particular interest in the workmanship of singer-songwriters. Getting an early start in high school, Webster began developing her craft by performing around her hometown and writing journals full of original songs. Drawing inspiration from Olivia Rodrigo, Lennon Stella, Kacey Musgraves, LANY, and more, Webster developed a unique sound that combines her cross-genre influences and storytelling lyricism.

Wanting to fine-tune her craft even further, Webster attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music’s songwriter camp, where her natural talent blossomed. Shortly after, in July 2020, everything changed for the musical prodigy when her song “Tell Your Mom” became an instant viral hit. Webster’s success brought impressive offers from pop and rock record labels out of New York and Los Angeles, but her instincts told her working out of Nashville would allow her to stay true to herself as a singer-songwriter with small-town roots.

Webster teamed up with songwriter and producer Paul DiGiovanni to create the studio version of “Tell Your Mom,” which was featured on her debut EP, First GoodbyeFirst Goodbye is notably comprised of all self-penned songs and obtained critical praise from multiple outlets, with People deeming it “a treasure of an album” and Sweety High noting that it “brings us back to Taylor Swift’s country days.” She also spent some time touring as the opening act on Ingrid Andress’ tour.

In September 2022, Georgia Webster released her latest EP, Chapter 1: Things We’re Not Saying, featuring 6 brand new tracks from the rising star, including the previously released track “X’s,” which garnered the attention of Kelsea Ballerini. After hearing the song, Ballerini invited Webster to join her as direct support on Ballerini’s HEARTFIRST TOUR, which made stops at iconic venues throughout the US and UK.

Now embarking on an “electrifying musical evolution” (Entertainment Focus), Webster has joined forces with renowned producer King Henry—known for working with Sasha Sloan, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer, and Beyonce—to hone in her sound, resulting in some of the “most exciting and authentic music” the songstress has crafted to date.
