GARETH RELEASES ORIGINAL ‘QUIET IN THIS HOUSE’
Playing C2C: Country To Country Festival in Berlin, Rotterdam and London next month
Embarking on debut European headline tour in April – tickets available here

LONDON, U.K. – (21 February, 2025) – Northern Ireland’s viral sensation Gareth has today released his original song ‘Quiet In This House’, following the news that he will be returning to the UK next month to play C2C: Country To Country Festival in London (March 14 – 16).
Commenting on the ‘Quiet In This House’, Gareth shared, “My family and I are very close to each other. We have grown up in the same house… mum, dad, granny, grandpa, and all my brothers and sisters. Every time I leave the house my mum always tells me it’s far too quiet. Moving to Nashville has been such a blessing but also very hard for me because I have to say goodbye to my family. I’ve never left home before and now I’ve moved to Nashville to chase a dream. This song is my way of sharing that story of moving to Nashville and all the emotions that come with it.”
The song was written by Gareth alongside GRAMMY winner Shay Mooney (Dan + Shay), and Tofer Brown, whose credits include Jon Pardi’s BMI award winning song ‘Night Shift’ and the double platinum single ‘Wine, Beer , Whiskey’ by Little Big Town.
‘Quiet In This House’ follows last month’s release of ‘Last Thing I Do’, which received its first radio play on BBC Radio 1, with Future Pop presenter Jodie Bryant saying of the track, “it’s fun, it’s country, it’s pop to the max.”
The 24-year old, who legendary BBC Radio 2 presenter Bob Harris said “is going to be a big star,” is gaining immense traction for blending his Irish roots with his love of country music and storytelling and has also been named one of Absolute Radio Country’s ‘Class of 2025’ artists-to-watch.
Gareth’s debut EP Changing Seasons was released in October 2024, and his cover project Covers (From Across The Pond) which includes his highly acclaimed and viral cover of Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season’, which he credits for kickstarting his career. Gareth’s version has received over 25 million views and has been streamed over 15 million times.
Gareth is set to return to the UK and Europe next month for appearances at C2C: Country To Country Festival in Berlin (March 7), Rotterdam (March 9) and London (March 14 – 16) before embarking on his debut European headline tour in the spring.
