The band comments: “With this release we had a particular vision for the song be absolutely devastating, and we needed the production to match the ferocity of the material. We opted to self-produce and had the track mixed and Mastered by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Paledusk, Thornhill). We’re so unbelievably stoked to have him elevate the track and the end product is far better than we ever could have imagined. The song deals with the feeling of not liking who’s staring back at you, the whispers you feel are coming from your own internal thoughts telling you that you can’t achieve more or move forward. It painfully details the pursuit of overcoming one’s personal dialogue of inadequacy.
