FROM RUINS UNVEIL DEBUT SINGLE RUNNING AWAY
On 14th July, From Ruins will unveil their debut single with the release of Running Away.
Formed in Spring 2023, the County Antrim-based metal outfit appears intent on making an immediate impact. Running Away is packed with hard-hitting riffs, soaring vocals and gripping melodies; It is fueled by aggression from start to finish.
The lyrics have a dark and sinister nature; the message is unrelenting in tone. Frontman Niall O’Kane explains: “The song is a f**k you to all the users and abusers out there, whilst opening the lid on some of the abuse that I’ve had to face, and the battles I have with my inner demons.”
The single artwork was created by guitarist Neil Anderson, perfectly illustrating the lyrical themes of mental turmoil, which can be viewed below.
