Empyre release the first in a series of singles in the run up to sold out London show

Empyre 'My Bad (Live & Unplugged)' single cover

Today Empyre release My Bad (Live & Unplugged) the first in a string of live acoustic single releases to the streaming services, that will culminate with the release of the full Live & Unplugged album on Friday 21st February. This coincides with the second night of a 2 night residency at St. Pancras Old Church, an evening that is already sold out.

Channelling the essence of the legendary MTV Unplugged series, Live & Unplugged captures the emotion, energy and boldness of Empyre’s music in its purest form. Piano and guitars take centre stage, vocals soar, and the stripped-back arrangements allow the power of the songwriting to shine through.

My Bad (Live & Unplugged) is one of 11 sublimely performed and produced tracks capturing the enveloping atmosphere from their acoustic shows recorded at Kettering Arts Centre (St. Andrew’s Church).

Those seeking a more tangible release can already get their hands on the full Live & Unplugged album which was made available on CD last year.

Henrik Steenholdt (Lead Singer) comments “It’s great to start the year with some new single releases and know that they’ll reach a crescendo with the release of the album and two nights performing in London, one of which is sold out and the other is not far behind. It sets up 2025 very nicely for us”.
