Multi-platinum, chart-topping, and award-winning country star Ella Langley lets her artistry bloom on Dandelion, her highly anticipated sophomore album, out now via SAWGOD/Columbia Records. Executive produced by Ella alongside Miranda Lambert and Ben West, the album represents her most deeply personal body of work to date. The album title is a statement of identity and independence, reframing the often-overlooked flower into a symbol of resilience and freedom.

“‘Dandelion’ is a natural next phase after ‘hungover’,” says Ella. “‘hungover’ is what brought people to the table, and ‘Dandelion’ is what makes them sit down and eat. This album explains who I am as an artist and as a person. It reflects on what made me this way while giving a glimpse of what’s next. It’s my favorite project I’veever done, it’s the most ‘me’ I’ve ever put out.

That sense of self is evident from the very first note. The album opens with a “Froggy Went A Courtin’” intro, one of the first songs Ella learned to sing alongside her grandfather at his piano. From there, she moves effortlessly between stripped-back reflection and full-band release, pairing unfiltered storytelling with infectious, singalong melodies.

Arriving on the heels of her chart-topping, Platinum-certified single “Choosin’ Texas, ” which continues its historic run atop the Billboard Hot 100, Dandelion finds Ella operating with a new level of clarity and confidence. Her songwriting remains both intentional and unguarded, capturing moments that feel deeply personal yet instantly relatable. The project was introduced by standout tracks “Loving Life Again,” “Be Her,” and the title track “Dandelion.”

Album highlight “Bottom Of Your Boots” offers one of the album’s most personal moments and was previewed on This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von. “The title for this song actually came from my dad,” Ella shares. “One night I was having a hard moment and my dad looked at me and said, ‘Baby, you’re fine. I love you from the bottom of my boots to the top of my hat.’”

The album’s sole feature, “Butterfly Season” with Miranda Lambert, captures a moment of transformation and details a turning point centered on growth, change, and stepping into something new.

“Ella has a fiery spirit, ” Miranda shared with Rolling Stone“She lives life in a big way and on her own terms. With this record, I wanted to honor her vision every step of the way.… It felt important to help her make choices that stayed true to who she is as an artist.

“Ella had a clear vision from the start and creative control the whole way,” adds co-executive producer Ben West. “I love that the songs on ‘Dandelion’ cover a lot of ground and showcase her ability to draw from her roots but make something entirely her own. It was a joy to work with Ella, Miranda, and the incredible crew that came together to bring this album to life.

With Dandelion, Ella further cements her place as one of the most compelling and undeniable voices at the forefront of country music’s next generation.

In support of the new project, Ella will soon hit the road to play her first headline arena run, ‘The Dandelion Tour.’ Kicking off May 7 in Toledo, OH, the tour stops in St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Austin, and more before wrapping in Fort Worth, TX on August 15. Joining Ella on tour as support across various dates is Kameron Marlowe, Dylan Marlowe, Kaitlin Butts, Gabriella Rose, and Laci Kaye Booth. Also on the schedule for 2026 are her previously-announced dates supporting Morgan Wallen’s ‘Still The Problem Tour’ , and several festival appearances, including her Stagecoach debut this April.
