Not conforming to one particular sound, RITUAL EFFECT draw influence from the ‘90s alternative sounds and inject a powerful and furiously original contemporary edge to their song-writing. The Dublin-based three-piece have dragged the once infamous grunge genre into a new realm, thanks to their crushing live presence, and modest back catalogue. The band’s name is testament to their dedication and commitment to giving their all, both on record, and when performing.

Previous release ‘Blindside’ surpassed all expectations for the band with their best airplay results to date, picking up on radio playlists from the likes of Total Rock, Hard Rock Hell and Rock Rage Radio, as well as receiving fantastic feedback on BSBTV!

“Withdrawn is about life in an unsigned rock band. We are always trying to push ourselves to the next level in this game, but a lot of the time it is very difficult to know what direction we are supposed to take in order to get ourselves heard, to play bigger shows, and ultimately get more people interested in what we do. On top of this there are a lot of obstacles in the way such as fake promoters, dodgy managers, bad venues and last minute cancelled shows. It can really knock you down and it can take a lot to get back up and keep going. Thankfully, when you believe in yourself as much as we do, getting back up is pretty easy. We love what we do, and we want the world to know all about it.”
