Disturbed today share their new single ‘Hey You’ via Reprise, alongside its official video which was directed by Josiahx. ‘Hey You’ is the first new music from the multi-Platinum band since their 2018 record ‘Evolution’, which became their joint highest-charting and third consecutive UK Top 10 album. It emerges as the band reveal that they have a new album coming later this year.

Disturbed’s David Draiman says, “It’s a wake-up call. We’ve become our own worst enemies. Civil discourse has become the exception instead of the norm. People have lost themselves in outrage addiction.”

Continuing on their monumental career, the band’s 2008 album ‘Indestructible’ was just certified 2 x Multi-Platinum by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Several songs in the band’s catalogue were also recently certified, including ‘Down With The Sickness’ (6 x Multi-Platinum), ‘The Sound of Silence’ (7 x Multi-Platinum), ‘Stupify’ (Gold and Platinum), ‘Stricken’ (2 x Platinum and Multi-Platinum), ‘Inside The Fire’ (Platinum) and ‘Land of Confusion’ (Gold and Platinum).

Disturbed accomplished the rare feat of achieving five consecutive #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200. That accolade historically elevated them alongside Metallica, the only other hard rock group to do so in the history of the chart. ‘Immortalized’ (2015) also spawned the crossover smash ‘The Sound of Silence’, which was nominated for Best Rock Performance at the Grammy Awards.

Since their formation in 1996, the band has sold 16 million albums globally and scored twelve #1 singles at Active Rock Radio. Their 5 x Platinum 2000 debut, ‘The Sickness’, formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by subsequent Grammy Award nominations as well as well as countless sold-out shows around the globe. Their most recent UK tour included their biggest London show to date at Alexandra Palace, which was subsequently documented with a live EP.
