“Rockstar” submerges listeners in a high-energy atmosphere filled with summertime rhythms and melodies that will have you remembering the youthful days of Warped Tour. Dead Bundy has created a sound that glimmers in the sun with lawless, quirky lyrics while highlighting wildly catchy, summer-like melodies. The single’s visual, filmed at Ohio Is For Lovers Festival ’22, compliments the energetic nature of the song, sending fans and new listeners in a vacation-state of mind.

“Who doesn’t want to be a rockstar? Well, in 2023 the term carries a drastically different context. As fads come and go, the phrase “ROCKSTAR” also comes and goes, but the music always stays the same. Is punk a way of life anymore? Don’t we all just want to be tiktok stars any way?” Says Dead Bundy about the new song.

Dead Bundy has been building a dedicated fanbase with their high-energy live shows and relatable lyrics. Their upcoming album Held Back promises to be their most personal and honest work to date with the classic Dead Bundy twist.

“Rockstar” can be found on Dead Bundy’s forthcoming record, Held Back due out June 23 via InVogue Records and is available for streaming and download on all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Pre-orders are now available.

About Dead Bundy: Dead Bundy is a pop-punk band based out of Cleveland, Ohio. The band radiates an anarchy ridden energy, with songs that showcase their fun-loving nature. DB is able to highlight sophistication in tracks such as “When I’m High” and “Not Sorry,” off their frenzy ignited 14-track album, Not Sorry. As the band’s music continues to grow, so does their career. Being featured on this year’s Ohio is For Lovers Festival alongside pop-rock icons, Hawthorne Heights and New Found Glory, as well as a past performance at Inkarceration Festival in ’21. The band is coming off the heels of re-release, (Still) Not Sorry that presents acoustic renditions of “When I’m High” and “Better Alive” and single, “Stupid State Of Mind.” The combination of these tracks make for an album of organized chaos, complimenting Dead Bundy’s hectic spirit.
