Orlando metalcore band DARK DIVINE have today released their latest single ‘Fading Away‘ via Thriller Records. Arriving alongside a visualiser, the track captures the frustration and exhaustion of trying to navigate a world built on outrage, noise, and constant division. ‘Fading Away’ taps into the emotional burnout that comes from living in a culture driven by reaction instead of connection. Rather than taking sides, DARK DIVINE focus on the human impact of fear-driven narratives and the growing disconnect between people. Through its urgent atmosphere, the track reflects the frustration of trying to separate truth from manipulation in a culture built on reaction. Vocalist Anthony Martinez shares his thoughts on the meaning behind the track:
“’Fading Away’ is an analysis on how misinformation has been turned into a weapon to control how the masses perceive the world around them. Through the influence of the media, the government, and the internet, people have been reduced to labels and groups that are demonised to hit algorithms and garner viewership. These influences prey on the weakest, yet loudest minds to push narratives that aim to target and attack marginalised groups of people. It’s no longer about the story. It’s about the headline and the headline’s ability to grab attention and shares.” |

ABOUT DARK DIVINE:
In the shadows of Orlando’s music scene, DARK DIVINE has emerged as something far more deliberate than just another metalcore band. Fronted by Anthony Martinez’s haunting vocals, Robby Lynch’s sinister guitar work, Cory Scissorhands thunderous bass lines, and Triston Blaize’s relentless drumming, the band weaves melody and menace into something uniquely their own. It’s brutal, it’s beautiful, and it lingers long after the first note. The band gained widespread recognition with their breakthrough track ‘Halloweentown’, earning spins on SiriusXM Octane and landing on major playlists across Spotify and Apple Music. Press outlets quickly took notice, with praise from idobi Radio, Outburn Magazine, and New Noise Magazine, the latter declaring that DARK DIVINE was “playing all the right cards.” That eerie foundation has continued to evolve through ‘Halloweentown II: Welcome Home’, expanding on the dark narrative that has become a defining thread of the band’s identity.DARK DIVINE’s vision fully comes alive onstage. From their spine tingling set at Inkcarceration Festival 2024 to tours alongside Black Veil Brides, Ville Valo, Holding Absence, Crown The Empire, Blessthefall, Miss May I, and Colorblind, the band has built a reputation for engaging and immersive live performances. Along the way, they have shared stages with Ice Nine Kills, appeared on the Summer of Loud tour, and delivered a standout performance at Apocalypse Fest alongside Motionless In White. That momentum now carries into their upcoming US headliner, The Shallow Graves Tour, where their growing fanbase known as the Reapers continues to show up in force. As 2026 unfolds, DARK DIVINE enters a new chapter with the announcement of their forthcoming album Undead Melody. The record expands on the band’s signature sound, pairing sharper hooks with deeper emotional weight and a broader sonic approach. With new music leading the charge and more to be revealed in the months ahead, DARK DIVINE continues to build momentum and carve out a world that feels both immersive and unmistakably their own. |
