Italian death grinders CRISIS BENOIT will release their debut album “El Culto De La Muerte” on June 10th 2022 via Slaughterhouse Records.
CRISIS BENOIT have long been known in the Italian underground scene for their furious mix of punk, grindcore and old school death-black metal, combined with a lyrical concept closely linked to the world of wrestling. The new opus “El Culto De La Muerte”, recorded and produced by Carlo Altobelli at the Toxic Basement Studio and graced by a cover by Ester Cardella, is undoubtedly the most complete and belligerent record of the young Italian act. This first full-length embraces the band’s extreme metal influences more frequently, without forgetting their infamous punk attitude.
The video of the album’s lead single, the title track “El Culto De La Muerte”, is now available HERE.

CRISIS BENOIT is a wrestling oriented theme grindcore/death metal band with a punk attitude.
Each member wears a scary luchador mask during live set. The project started in 2016 to combine extreme music with extreme wrestling and extreme horror. After a DIY demo “… just a RAW demo” [2017], Crisis Benoit released through Slaughterhouse Records three EPs: “Violence Era” [2018], “Icon of Violence” [2018], “Night of The Living Deathmatches” [2019]. The new album “El Culto De La Muerte” is going to be released soon.
CRISIS BENOIT is a natural born live act: from 2017 to 2020, the band performed several gigs in Italia, 9 European tours and one Mexican tour (June 2019).
CRISIS BENOIT wrote the entrance theme for the maltese pro wrestler Gianni Valletta (All Japan Pro Wrestling), for the Italian hardcore tag team Urban Guerrilla, and for the Mexican extreme wrestling federation Zona23.
Some of their songs are part of the soundtrack of “Kami No Virusu” a cult cyberpunk movie.
The band collaborated with “Rise Underground Pro Wrestling” for a music/deathmatch show in Leeds (UK).
The band members remain anonymous. According to Mexican lucha libre tradition they use pseudonyms: El Terrible (drum/vocals), El Canibal (guitars) and Aidu Ientus (bass).
They played in several bands such as Calvary, Ass Ache (the very first Italian grindcore act), Vatican City Syndrome, Lacerater, Repressione, Cerebral Extinction, Cinerarium, Orcrist, Brutal mutilation, Pagan place, Dismhal, Oracles, Morning Flame, 2MinutaDreka, Devoured by Vermin, A Place for Murder.
