Creed Fisher Celebrates His Dog Hanks’ Birthday with New Music Video “Hankles” – Out Now
(Nashville, Tenn.– Dec. 15, 2021) Creed Fisher is celebrating the life of his American Bully, Hank, with the release of his newest music video “Hankles”- out now! “Hankles” is a song from Fisher’s Whiskey and the Dog album, which debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country charts in October. The video is now available worldwide here. To listen to the track, fans can also stream the single on all platforms here.
Directed and produced by Marc Coronado, “Hankles” showcases the relationship between a man and his best friend – his dog. The video was filmed in New Braunfels, TX, in the back of Fisher’s 1954 Willy’s Jeep, which is one of the places he and Hank frequent to clear their minds and enjoy time together. Fisher recognizes that in all his stages of life his dog has been the one constant. With this music video, he wants to celebrate Hank and remind viewers to enjoy the animals who have stayed by their side throughout the highs and lows of life.
Fisher elaborates, “This song is very special to me. I’m a dog person and love animals in general. Hank is a huge part of my life and my favorite part of filming this video was getting to highlight him and show what a cool dude he is. It was special. He keeps me on my toes, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. We are best friends. He has the sweetest heart but gets in trouble often – kind of like me. We relate to each other.”
Overall, 2021 has been full of celebrations for Fisher. He recently won the Texas Country Music Award for Alternative / Roots Artist of the Year. He also signed with Dirt Rock Empire earlier this year and celebrated an album release, Whiskey and the Dog, which debuted at #4 on the iTunes Country chart and #17 out of all genres on the day of its release.
In November, Fisher wrapped up a tour with his most recent album releases, Whiskey and the Dog and How Country Music Sounded Before It All Went to Shit, Vol. 1. He is also currently experiencing success at Texas radio. With his last three albums debuting in the Top 5 on iTunes, Fisher hopes his newest album, Whiskey and the Dog, will continue to help him defy the odds. With over 22 million combined streams on Spotify and 17 million+ views on YouTube with past releases, Creed Fisher is an artist who has created a fan base and following by authentically connecting with fans and playing real, rowdy country music.
Like a steely-eyed gunslinger from a Sergio Leone western, he is a man of few words and lets his music tell his story. Fisher has never been one to sell his soul to trends. Keeping it real means writing songs that real people can relate to; the good, bad, and even the ugly. His previous singles, “Rock & Roll Man,” “Be the Hope,” “I’m Growing Older, But I’m Not Growing Up,” and “A Few Good Ol’ Cowboys” all hit Top 10, Top 25, or Top 30 on the Texas Charts. He was also named the BigStar97 Outlaw Country artist of the Year in 2018.
