[Brighton, April 10, 2024] — The eagerly awaited “Bangarang UK Tour 24” is set to ignite stages across the UK with Brighton’s very own alt-rock/punk sensation, Creature Creature, at the forefront of an alternative music revival. Kicking off at The Black Heart in London on June 1st and running through October, this tour marks a significant milestone in the band’s journey, showcasing their most passionate and compelling live performances to date.

Following the tumultuous cancellation of their first-ever tour in 2020 due to the pandemic, Creature Creature has risen from the ashes, channelling their frustrations into creativity and emerging stronger. The band’s frontman, Scully, shares, “After the pandemic annihilated our first ever tour which should have followed the release of our debut album Two Finger Tantrum back in 2020, the damage caused took a while to recover from. We are finally in a position to release these songs in the form of ‘The Noise’ EP, and hit the road to show just how passionate we are in their live delivery.

The tour boasts an impressive lineup, with special guests GLYTSH and 4FOXSAKE joining the opening night in London, and other notable acts to be announced. Not to be missed is their appearance at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool this August, alongside punk legends The StranglersGogol BordelloStiff Little Fingers, and Sham 69, among many others.

Organized almost entirely DIY, with the exception of select shows, the “Bangarang UK Tour 24” is a testament to Creature Creature’s dedication and resilience. “Brace yourselves, this year, months upon months of pent-up passion will unleash itself on a stage near you,” promises Scully. “Let Creature Creature transport you to a place where the mainstream are quaking in their boots at the resurgence of alternative music as the driving force capturing the nation’s attention.

About Creature Creature

In early 2020, Brighton’s alt-rock/punk band Creature Creature was primed for success. With their debut album Two Finger Tantrum ready, the band, comprising Scully (lyrics/vocals), Zeus (guitar), Seb Cole (keyboard/keytar/backing vocals), Dave Cobley (bass), and Matt Hill (drums), was set for extensive touring and publicity. However, the COVID pandemic brought their momentum to an abrupt halt, leading to a string of show cancellations and a lukewarm reception for their album in a world overshadowed by the pandemic.

Undeterred, Creature Creature saw this period as an opportunity for introspection and strategic planning. They emerged more resilient, ready for a comeback with their new EP, symbolizing their journey of persistence and renewal. Their music, inspired by the likes of Frank Carter & The RattlesnakesRoyal BloodIDLES, and Dinosaur Pile-Up, showcases a diverse blend of rock and punk, evident in singles like “Video Nasty,” “Mean Streets (Reprise),” and “Broken Windows.”

Praised by Rocklifestyle Magazine as ready to become rockstars and dubbed “the new flag bearers of rock” by The Brighton Magazine, Creature Creature has earned critical acclaim for their depth and dynamism. Their live performances, irrespective of audience size, are known for their energy and authenticity.

In summer 2022, a pivotal collaboration with Billy Lunn from The Subways marked a turning point for the band. “The Noise EP,” born from this collaboration and produced by Feeder’s Tommy Gleeson is a testament to their hard-fought journey. Now, Creature Creature is not just making a comeback; they’re determined to redefine the rock landscape they once thought had turned its back on them.
