Courteeners release “Sweet Surrender” today from their forthcoming seventh album, Pink Cactus Café. The new single features guest vocals from breakout Scottish soul artist, and regular guest at Courteeners’ live shows, Brooke Combe. The single glides in on flickering acoustic guitars and a driving rhythm track before opening out with a soaring chorus.

“Sweet Surrender” is the third track to be revealed from Courteeners’ seventh studio album Pink Cactus Café, released on 25th October 2025 on Ignition Records. It includes previously released “Solitude Of The Night Bus” plus current single and album title track, which have both received widespread national UK radio playlist support. With Liam Fray co-producing all tracks and featuring additional contributions from friends of the band such as DMAs, James and Ian Skelly (The Coral), Pixey, Charlie Salt (Blossoms), Ola Modupe-Ojo (Bipolar Sunshine) and Theo Hutchcraft (Hurts) amongst many more, Pink Cactus Café is pop-leaning, exploratory and the band’s most collaborative and forward-looking record yet.
