Curb Records Recording Artist Dylan Scott Longs For The ‘Static’ of a Small Town With New Song

Curb Records Recording Artist Dylan Scott Longs For The ‘Static’ of a Small Town With New Song, Out Today (Oct. 1)

‘New Truck’ Accelerating At Radio

On Tour With Luke Bryan Through Mid-October

Nashville, Tenn. (1 October, 2021) — As his current single, ‘New Truck,’ accelerates at country radio, Curb Records recording artist Dylan Scott longs for the slow and simple pace of his small town roots on his latest song, ‘Static,’ out today (Oct. 1). Preview the fresh track HERE, and watch Scott perform the high-energy anthem out on Luke Bryan’s “PROUD TO BE RIGHT HERE TOUR” HERE.

Once again leaning on the expert lyricism of HARDY, Hunter Phelps, Ben Johnson and Ashley Gorley—the same legion of songwriters who penned ‘New Truck’—Scott brings the story of ‘Static’ to life as he pines for a dusty dirt road and sings, “Sometimes you want to talk to God somewhere He can hear you.”

“‘Static’ is a song that relates to a lot of people’s lives, including mine, to a T,” explains Scott. “You grow up in a small town, and all you can think about is leaving that small town, chasing a dream, chasing a dollar, moving to a bigger city. And once you get there, it’s all great. But sometimes you’ve just got to get back out in the middle of nowhere, back to your roots, where there’s nothing but a little static on the radio.”

The chart-topping artist did just that last month as he joined Luke Bryan in half a dozen rural towns for his 2021 edition of the popular “Farm Tour.” The CMT Music Award winner is currently providing direct support for Bryan’s “PROUD TO BE RIGHT HERE TOUR” through mid-October. On Oct. 23, Scott will return home to Louisiana to headline his third annual Bayou Stock in Sterlington, LA. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE.

About Dylan Scott:

Curb Records recording artist and 2021 CMT Music Award winner Dylan Scott is the total package—a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed in his father’s footsteps to Nashville.
