CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR ANNOUNCE BRAND NEW ALBUM THIS PAIN WILL SERVE YOU

To celebrate the announcement, the band have shared a majestic music video for their brand new single ‘Still Haunted‘. A gracefully balanced waltz rife with spine-tingling aggression and soaring melodies, the track is an emotionally charged gut-punch that candidly explores the tragedy of loss and the overwhelming weight of grief connected to it.

Speaking on the new single, vocalist Stephen MacConville shares:
“The song tells the story of my best friend and how he’s struggled with the loss of his partner to suicide. He holds the memories of their relationship so dear. He is haunted by things he could have done differently to prevent her from the path she chose. Dwelling in a limbo where he simply cannot move on from her, falling deeper into sadness as he is surrounded by all of her possessions.”

This Pain Will Serve You delves deep into the complex and raw emotions of grief and loss. Through haunting melodies and powerful lyrics, the band explores the universal experience of mourning and the journey toward healing. The album captures the lingering presence of the memories that shape our lives while also reflecting on the beauty that can emerge from the depths of sorrow, serving as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact that those we’ve lost continue to have on us.
