Zurich based Alternative Rock outfit, Comastatic are today happy to share their brand-new single ‘Misery’. The duo have teamed up with fellow pop-punk Zurich compatriots All To Get Her for a high-energy offering that oozes emotion and explores the struggles through self-doubt. The new single comes shortly after both bands joined forces onstage at Greenfield Festival and Summerside Festival and has today seen the band placed on the front cover of the Spotify ‘Rock Rotation’ editorial playlist (332,000 followers) as track number one.

‘Misery’ follows a run of single releases that has seen Comastatic take the internet world by storm. Recent singles ‘Toxic Energy’, ‘Fix It All’ and ‘Coma’ have all combined to surpass 600,000 streams in the last year.

Comastatic vocalist Mattia Di Paolo shares – “Misery is about the struggle with dark thoughts like self-doubt, self-hatred, and anxiety. It tells the story of fighting to overcome these feelings, showing the determination to keep going even when it feels impossible. The song captures the pain of facing your inner demons while holding onto the hope that you can eventually rise above them.”

Formed in 2022 by singer ‘Mattia Di Paolo’ and Guitarist ‘Giuliano “Jules” Luongo’.

Comastatic, encapsulates the feeling of watching the world falling apart being powerless to alter its course. Being caught in a paralyzing equilibrium between existence and inertia, taking listeners into their own realm where chaos meets vulnerability. In 2022 with nothing but a dream, Comastatic created a vision, giving a voice to everyone caught in the motions.

The pair took a leap of faith, travelling over 6000 miles to Los Angeles to work with notable producers Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly), Jon Lundin (Fever333, Point North,) and Matt Malpass (Blink-182) before unleashing the project in May, 2023 and now set out  to empower those who are too afraid to raise their voice on their own.
