On July 17th, Montreal-based alternative rock band Cloned Apparition will release their debut album, Parallel with the Sun, through Static Era Records. The band has conjured up eight tracks that swirl through a high-energy combination of grunge, shoegaze, and nu-metal leaning sounds, fitting right alongside contemporaries such as Narrow Head, Bleed, and Soul Blind. Having already displayed their sonic force with lead single “Stain” today the band unleash the dynamic single “Let Me” featuring guest vocals from Jake of Canadian hardcore band Mile End. The song shifts between upbeat rhythms and hazy vocals to a crushingly heavy assault, as the accompanying video puts the track on fully display through an intoxicating performance.

On the song’s lyrics, vocalist Alec Turcot shares:
“‘Let Me’ is about someone important to you and letting them in despite your faults. About growing up with a person and evolving alongside them and knowing that things haven’t been perfect.”
Cloned Apparition will celebrate the album with a pair of release shows July 17th in Toronto and July 18th in Montreal with Mile End and more supporting. You can find more info below, following the album artwork and tracklist.
