    NASHVILLE, TN
—(3rd February, 2022) — BBR Music Group label-mates Chayce Beckham, the latest winner of ABC’s American Idol, and Lindsay Ell, award-winning triple threat (musician, vocalist, songwriter) have shared their piping hot music video for their supercharged duet, “Can’t Do Without Me” with a CMT premiere. The music video is available to watch worldwide now.

The intensely seductive song (produced by Ross Copperman and penned by Jordan Walker, Trannie Anderson and Michael Carter) describes a couple’s long-awaited reunion, which the video brings to life with visions of Beckham and Ell speeding down beautiful scenic routes. Filled with heart-pounding anticipation, the video was filmed in Tennessee and directed by Matthew Paskert.

Soaring with a high-energy beat, the “stellar vocalists” (Wide Open Country) perfectly complement each other, fusing together striking harmonies and electrifying guitar licks that expertly showcase “Beckham’s gritty Country/Rock vocals and Ell’s powerhouse pipes amongst Country-Pop production” (Country Now). The song has already banked more than 1.5 million on-demand streams and is continuing to climb the US Country radio charts.

Just named a 2022 “Artist to Watch” by Sounds Like Nashville, Country Now, Country Swag, “Can’t Do Without Me” is Beckham’s label-debut single with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records whereas Ell is a veteran, already having earned a No. 1 hit, a slew of awards nominations and critical praise.

    ABOUT CHAYCE BECKHAM:
Chayce Beckham is one of the most buzzed about newcomers in Country music today, having won over millions of hearts while competing on Season 19 of ABC’s American Idol. From the first audition, superstar Katy Perry highlighted how Chayce’s gravely vocals sound like “the heart of America.” Armed with a determination to make something of himself and the unwavering support of his family, Chayce auditioned for the competition show after undergoing a particularly difficult year to ultimately become the first-ever show winner to claim the title with an original song—kickstarting his journey to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a singer, songwriter and entertainer. Following his first time onstage after performing in his fifth-grade talent show, the southern Californian began teaching himself guitar—eventually finding his way into a Reggae band (while earning his wages at a construction equipment rental company). Influenced by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Kolton Moore & The Clever Few, and knowing that Country music was where his heart called home, Chayce turned to Instagram as a creative outlet for his more intimate songs, sharing his original material.

With his family, his hometown of Apple Valley and now America behind him, the mellow 26-year-old with the alluring rasp recently released his debut song, “23.” The song is a semi-autobiographical account of his struggles with alcohol and of the lows it can take a person. After its release, the song quickly earned the top spot on both the iTunes Country and all genre charts. Now signed to 19 Recordings in partnership with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records and finding his home in Nashville, Chayce has released his debut single with Lindsay Ell, “Can’t Do Without Me,” which is out on Country radio now. He will be joining Luke Combs and Jimmie Allen on tour this year.

    ABOUT LINDSAY ELL:
Lauded as “one of the most exciting and talented young artists in Country music” (Forbes), Lindsay Ell is a triple threat:  accomplished musician, unique vocalist and awe-inspiring songwriter. The Calgary native learned to play guitar while traveling with her father to Country-Bluegrass camps as a young girl. Ell honed her craft as a musical stylist and songwriter after being discovered by BTO and The Guess Who’s Randy Bachman (“American Woman” / “Taking Care of Business”) who discovered her at the age of 13. The multi-instrumentalist was soon touring alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, and Keith Urban. Ell also shared the stage with distinguished Country group, Little Big Town, along with other powerhouse female artists in one the biggest moments of the 2019 CMA Awards where she was also nominated for Musical Event of the Year. Ell’s nominations do not stop there. She has been nominated for New Female Artist of the Year in both 2019 and 2020, in addition to her 2020 ACM nomination of Music Event of the Year. Ell also won 2021 CCMA Interactive Artist or Group of the Year for the third year in a row. These wins and nominations are well earned after Ell exhilarated audiences as part of Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour, Brantley Gilbert’s Not Like Us Tour, Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior World Tour and Blake Shelton’s 2021 Tour. Ell’s first full-length album The Project debuted at No. 1 on the Country Album Sales Chart and was named Billboard’s “Best Country Album of 2017. “What Happens In a Small Town,” Lindsay’s duet with Brantley Gilbert, claimed the top spot at Country radio, marking her first No. 1 in the US. She has two No. 1 singles under her belt in Canada and currently serves as host to Canada’s Got Talent.  Her critically-acclaimed sophomore album, heart theory was nominated for “Country Album of the Year” at Canada’s prestigious Juno Awards.
