“In light of the fact that Northlane doesn’t traditionally do remixes, I was honored that they were willing to take on a remix for ‘Soul Parasites,” explains Klayton (Celldweller). “One listen and it will be clear why they are at the top of the game when it comes to mixing melody, electronics, and metal.”
Releasing with the album today is Northlane‘s take on “Soul Parasites.” Northlane turns the dial up to one hundred taking the thought-provoking lyrics further Northlane pushes “Soul Parasites” into harder and heavier territory. Thrashing Industrial guitars, screaming metal vocals, and heavy rhythms that hit like a sledgehammer as Northlane serves up a torrential firestorm in this fierce remix.
“I wanted to keep the general flow of the original tune but inject Northlane types of atmosphere throughout and reimagine the chorus. It was also fun to lean into the breakdown section and really make a moment out of it.“ – Jon Deiley (Northlane)
