The collective first made its UK debut late last year with a critically acclaimed national tour presented by the Academy of Country Music – watch the highlights in a brand new behind-the-scenes video here. The tour featured Kalie Shorr, Carter Faith, Twinnie and Robyn Ottolini and saw the artists playing acoustic versions of hits like ‘F-150’ (Ottolini) and ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ (Twinnie) to packed rooms in Glasgow, Manchester and London. British duo Ward Thomas were also invited to make a special guest appearance at the sold-out, “triumphant London debut” (Entertainment Focus), performing their hit ‘Cartwheels’ from their Gold album of the same name, with which they became the first and only UK Country acts to achieve a No.1 album in 2016.
ABOUT SONG SUFFRAGETTES:
Born in 2014, Song Suffragettes has taken place every Monday night at The Listening Room Café in Nashville, Tennessee. In its eight years, the collective has showcased more than 380 talented women out of over 2,000 who have submitted to play the show. With weekly sell-outs, it vocally combats widespread discrimination against women in the music industry by giving female talent a place to play, grow and evolve with fellow creatives. Since its inception, 28 Song Suffragettes women have gone on to receive record deals and 60 have landed music publishing deals. With over 5 million views on their YouTube channel, Song Suffragettes was named by Billboard magazine as one of “Next-Gen Nashville: 16 People, Places and Things Shaking Up Music City”.
Featured in The New York Times, Forbes, ELLE, Rolling Stone, Washington Post, Grammy.com and on PBS NewsHour and NPR, Song Suffragettes continues to fight for female talent to be heard throughout the US and beyond.
Beginning in November 2022, Song Suffragettes also planted its roots outside of the United States with a new monthly night at The Camden Club in London, following a sold-out “triumphant London debut” (Entertainment Focus) during its first ever UK tour in October.
“We’ve been wanting to expand Song Suffragettes for a while, but wanted it to matter when we did. Over the 8+ years of Song Suffragettes in Nashville, there has always been great interest in our singer-songwriters from all over the UK,” said Todd Cassetty, founder of Song Suffragettes. “That, plus the outpouring of fan support for our recent UK Tour, made launching Song Suffragettes London a no-brainer. And we will do our very best to put the best-of-the-best female singer-songwriters on stage at The Camden Club to continue our relentless pursuit to support and showcase women creatives.”

ABOUT ALYSSA BONAGURA:
A celebrated songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Alyssa Bonagura has spent the past decade fine-tuning a sound that reaches far beyond her Nashville roots. It’s a sound that blurs the boundaries between genres, mixing the southern storytelling of country music, the free-thinking spirit of rock & roll, and the cinematic sweep of Brit-pop into its own hybrid. For Alyssa — a lifelong road warrior who spent her infancy aboard a tour bus, recorded a duet with Kenny Rogers at 10 years old, received her college diploma from Sir Paul McCartney, and currently balances her critically-acclaimed solo career with an ongoing gig writing songs for Jessie James Decker, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, and others — it’s also a sound that’s every bit as diverse as her own story.

ABOUT HALEY MAE CAMPBELL:
New York-born and South Carolina-raised artist Haley Mae Campbell combines city-slicker sass with small-town sensibilities in her music, mixing rock-style vocals with undeniably country storytelling. With over 20 million collective streams on Spotify, and her 2021 single ‘Never Been In Love’ debuting at #1 on the US All Genre and Country iTunes Charts after a social clip of the song amassed over 55M views across socials, Campbell is well on her way to becoming one of Music Row’s shining new stars.
Since she started releasing music in 2015, Campbell has opened for country stars including Billy Currington, Luke Combs, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, David Nail, Lauren Alaina, Carly Pearce, Thompson Square and more. Along with her own tour dates, 2023 will see her appearing at London’s esteemed C2C Festival as well as Darius Rucker’s Riverfront Revival in her hometown of Charleston, SC.
