GRAMMY, ACM and CMA award-winning duo Brothers Osborne have turned a fresh page in their musical story with ‘R.I.P.’
Written by TJ Osborne, Hunter Phelps and Alysa Vanderheym, and produced by longtime collaborator Jay Joyce, ‘R.I.P.’ finds TJ and brother John at their calling-card best.
Delivering what already feels like a new fan favourite, ‘R.I.P.’ is rich with guitar-heavy instrumentation and a stomping back-beat, reinforced by TJ’s signature baritone…

“‘R.I.P.’ is us getting back to our musical roots,” reflects John. “This new music is a rear-view glimpse into where we came from while still driving forward into the new and the unknown.”

Earlier this year, the Brothers celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, ‘Pawn Shop’ – an era-defining record that cemented the duo’s “thumping country-rock with a decidedly blue-collar flavour” (Rolling Stone).
‘R.I.P.’ references that sound, anchored in their upbringing in Deale, Maryland and bolstered by a live show experience that matches the recording.
Following a hugely successful run of dates in the UK and Ireland in 2025, part of the ‘Might As Well Be Us’ World Tour, the Brothers will be returning here this December, having been handpicked to play with The Darkness on the ‘Bands Of Brothers Arena Tour 2026’; prior to these appearances, TJ, John and their regular touring line-up will be out on the road in the US, headlining shows and performing at festivals and fairs, as well as guesting with the Zac Brown Band on their ‘Love & Fear Tour’.

ABOUT BROTHERS OSBORNE
Brothers Osborne are one of music’s most consistently adventurous outfits, a duo connected not just by blood but by a lifetime of performing together, plus a shared working-class upbringing in Deale, Maryland. Multi-award winners John and TJ Osborne are leaders of a progressive yet deeply rooted school of country music, and widely regarded as key faces of the new generation of Nashville.
The siblings earned their first GRAMMY Award in 2022, winning ‘Best Country Duo/Group Performance’ for ‘Younger Me’, inspired by TJ’s coming out. The song appears on the deluxe edition of their GRAMMY-nominated album, ‘Skeletons’ (2020).
To date, Brothers Osborne have received 13 GRAMMY nominations, most recently in 2025 for ‘Best Country Duo/Group Performance’; they are also six-time CMA ‘Vocal Duo of the Year’ winners and four-time ACM ‘Duo of the Year’ winners. Overall, they have collected seven CMA Awards and seven ACM Awards, as well as the ASCAP Vanguard Award.
Their critically acclaimed catalogue has earned multiple RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications, amassing more than 3.4 billion global streams. Previously sharing the stage with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne’s most recent headlining ‘We’re Not For Everyone Tour’ played more than 50 US markets.
Beyond the duo, John Osborne has expanded his role as a producer, working closely with a number of artists including Grace Bowers, Caylee Hammack and Ashley McBryde – he helmed both Ashley’s ‘… Presents: Lindeville’ album, as well as most recent record, ‘Wild’.
Brothers Osborne released their self-titled fourth studio album in September 2023 via Snakefarm in the UK, featuring the single ‘Nobody’s Nobody’ amongst others. In 2024, they followed with the four-track ‘Break Mine’ EP, and their latest release, ‘Finish This Drink’, arrived in April 2025.
2026 saw Brothers Osborne celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their breakthrough album, ‘Pawn Shop’, the release that introduced their bold, genre-defying sound and launched a decade of critical acclaim.
John Osborne recently launched his own signature Fender Telecaster, complete with B-Bender.
TJ and John are currently in the studio working on new music to be released later this year.
