British-Norwegian Composer Kyle Sevenoaks Unveils New Track!

“Watch It Burn”, the new track from British-Norwegian composer Kyle Sevenoaks, is set for release on October 31st, 2025! The track, a rich cacophony of industrial metal, is his first release in 2025 and his latest creative project since the release of his short horror film “Taste In Music” in 2024.

Speaking about the track, Sevenoaks has said:
“I’ve seen enough, I’ve been through enough and I’ve absolutely had enough. Those of us that have ever been on the receiving end of a life changing, unfair, cold and calculated decision that we have no way to affect know exactly what this song is about and to whom it is directed. The power some hold over others, the ways they use it and abuse it is horrifying and I believe we should not stand for it anymore, we should set them and their worlds on fire, and watch it burn.”

2024 was a banger year for Sevenoaks. His short, “Taste In Music”, starring Norwegian-French actor and I, The Betrayer frontman Chris Wiborg, screened at some of the finest film festivals in Norway. This included the Ramaskrik Film Festival, which is considered one of Norway’s most important film festivals, and the Ravenheart Film Festival in Oslo.

The film followed a composer alone in his remote cabin when a cosmic storm hits Earth, and he is forced to face down the transformed evil that has become of his keyboard.

Kyle went on to say this about the film’s inspiration:
“This film was inspired by a conversation “what would happen if this keyboard became alive?”

I had access to a very remote cabin on the Norwegian coast that’s only accessible by boat, and it quickly became apparent that this had to be horror, with a touch of comedy since that’s pretty much who I am. I wanted to create a quick and tight, self-contained story that was fun and asks the question “what would you do in this ridiculous situation?”

Having filmed this on a shoestring budget of only a few hundred dollars and the good will of friends and acquaintances, making this film taught me a lot about what it is to be a director, what to take care of next time and how important it is to know the different departments, if even a little bit.”

Kyle is a British-Norwegian director and musician living in Oslo, Norway. He’s most associated with the horror genre, having recently won an award for Best Monster Movie for his short “Taste In Music” and for directing music videos for metal and hard rock artists.

As a musician he’s known for working in the metal and industrial electronic genres, focusing on extended range instruments, and intertwining them with heavy industrial influenced electronic elements and has also released music on a DMCA SAFE basis for streamers and content creators.

His main band, I, the Betrayer, has been featured in Metal Hammer and Norway Rock Magazine. He is chiefly responsible for writing and studio duties. Kyle has been invited to perform at TwitchCon in both the US and Europe. He is endorsed by Spector Basses and Winspear Instrumental.

Currently, Kyle is actively working on a new short and his debut feature film.
