Breed 77 Announce New Album “VII”

First New Album From Flamenco Metallers
In Thirteen Years Lands November 13th

November 2026 UK Tour Announced

Flamenco metal maestros Breed 77 are thrilled to announce their brand new album “VII“. Set for release on the 13th of November, VII is the first new album from the UK / Gibraltar natives since 2013.

VII has everything listeners would want and fans would expect of a new Breed 77 album; riffs as sharp as a tack, moments of the trademark flamenco guitar work, clever lyrics and blistering guitar solos. And that’s just for starters! VII offers 11 new Breed 77 songs including the successful singles End Of The LineOutside and Just Act Like You Know, with eight more tracks ready to give you a full force dose of Breed 77 like you haven’t had in over a decade.

VII is available to pre-save on your digital platform of choice here.

To tell you more about their long overdue, eagerly awaited new album, we hand over to Breed 77 frontman Paul Isola:

“The recording of this album has taken place over a year and a half and 3 countries, the writing of it even more – it wasn’t the most ideal situation but I think we thrive through adversity, you take negatives and turn them into positives, use the time, hone the songs, develop them and explore where they take you. The result is an album with real musical depth…

‘VII’ is a sprawling, eclectic affair, not by design but by the nature of how we recorded it – it takes inspiration from a large period of our lives, kinda like our first album all over again haha! It straddles the spectrum from driving metal riffs and the energy we’re known for – to soft ballads and everything in-between!

This album still sounds like Breed 77, I mean, there’s the flamenco guitars, the tribal rhythms, the hooky vocal lines, but it stretches and pulls at the concept of B77 in a dozen different directions – it’s Breed evolved, somewhat familiar, but fresh and exciting.

Lyrically, ‘VII’ explores various themes, there’s a lot in there on how, in today’s society, there’s so many of us that feel we don’t fit in; In the same way we felt in our youth, in the schoolyard – you’d think you’d have found your place in the world by now…well I’m here to say that it’s OK not to fit in, it’s OK to think different…it’s OK to BE different – it’s the original thinkers that will save the world!

We cannot stress how important, how vital this album is for Breed 77 – after so much time it was imperative to us to have music that we believed in, songs that were strong and could sit beside the crowd favourites in our set…’VII’ is our mission statement – Breed 77 is back in a big way!”

Those lucky enough to be in Manchester on Friday the 13th of November will get a release day show, but expect the band to be playing new material on all dates, as well as all your old favourites.

About Breed 77

Originally formed just before the turn of the millennium, Breed 77’s unique flamenco metal sound has won them legions of fans and seen them tour all over the world throughout the 2000’s and 2010’s. Their breakthrough album Cultura stands the test of time today as one of the finest metal albums of the mid 2000’s, offering something that truly hadn’t been heard before. Singles like World’s On Fire and The River have as much fire to them today as the day they were released.

Having played with such metal luminaries as Machine Head, Life Of Agony and KoRn and taken to the stage at events like the UK’s Download Festival and SXSW in the US, Breed 77 have delivered on the biggest stages around the world. Huge favourites in their dual home of Gibraltar, the band have played to enormous crowds as part of national celebrations in Gibraltar twice (including taking a break from their hiatus in 2017 to be a big part of the Tercentenary celebrations).

Hints of the band reactivating first surfaced towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the band bursting back to full life at the beginning of 2024. The reception to their comeback, including headlining Uprising Festival, wowing the crowds at Bloodstock Open Air, and first three new singles – End Of The Line, Outside and Just Act Like You Know, has been overwhelmingly positive. With new album VII set to complete the comeback and a huge tour lined up, both for November 2026, the future is on fire for Breed 77!
