NASHVILLE, TENN. – Hot new country duo Madison Station (Craig Anderson and Lance Horton) releases emotionally captivating new single, Shoes Under My Bed. The song, which is about an all-encompassing love between two people, is already getting traction and making an impact at mainstream country radio, with a growing number of program directors adding it to their station’s regular rotation. It is now available on all digital platforms including
Spotify,
Apple Music, and more.
I want your shoes under my bed
I want my pillow under your head
I want your toothbrush next to mine
I want to kiss you goodnight every night…
This tune follows the success of their first subtle release, Life Leaving Its Mark, which gave country radio a good introduction for this new duo and what’s to come. From lead vocalist Lance Horton alongside guitarist/background vocalist Craig Anderson(co-founder and former member of Heartland), Shoes Under My Bed was co-written by number one hit writer Wil Nance (Brad Paisley, George Strait, Tracy Lawrence, etc) as well as actress/writer Riley Weston and Pete Sallis (Maddie & Tae, Ronnie Dunn, etc). It was co-produced by both Anderson and Dan Frizsell. “When you are so in love, you want that person to be a part of your life in every way possible and this song describes that feeling,” says member Anderson. “I heard the demo several years ago with just vocals and piano and had always planned to cut it. It’s just a great song that we fully believe in and we hope to convey that emotion clearly through the lyrics.”
Stations that have already added Shoes Under My Bed to their regular programming include: KEAN-FM (Abilene, TX), KGNC-FM (Amarillo, TX), KIAI (Mason, IL), KLLL-FM (Lubbock, TX), KYKX-FM (Tyler, TX), KZKX-FM (Lincoln, NE), WCEN-FM (Saginaw, MI), WFLS-FM (Fredericksburg, VA), WHKX-FM (Bluefield, WV), WIBW-FM (Topeka, KS) and WTVY-FM (Dothan, AL).
