EXAMPLE. Born in London as Elliot John Gleave, the artist known simply as Example took his stage name from his initials “e.g.”, the abbreviation of the Latin phrase meaning “for example”. Throughout his career, Example’s sound has evolved to see him bridge the gap between pop, rap and electronic music. He’s also become a UK festival favourite. Expect to hear his #1 selling singles ‘Kickstarts’, ‘changed the way you kissed me’ and ‘won’t go quietly’ amongst many others.
B*witched. The Dublin band that put Ireland on the pop music map back in the 90s. They’ve had quite a few number-one songs in the UK charts with their first four singles, C’est la Vie, Rollercoaster, To You I Belong and Blame It on the Weatherman hitting the top spot on the Singles Chart.
