This holiday season, harmonica virtuoso Will Wilde delivers a soulful slow-burner with Christmas Eve Blues, a haunting minor-key lament that echoes the spirit of Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac.
Centred on the pain of a Christmas Day breakup, Wilde’s mournful harp and soul-drenched vocals cut deep. This is a Christmas anthem for anyone who’s felt the blues when the World is celebrating.
2025 has been a landmark year for Wilde. His album Blues Is Still Alive peaked at #5 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Chart and hit the #1 spot on the IBBA Chart.
Music-News praised the record as “one of the freshest sounding and most classic Blues albums I’ve heard in the last couple of years!” while Classic Rock said “delivers plenty of gold.”
Capping off an incredible year, Wilde was recently honoured with the “Lord of the Blues” Award at the HRH Awards.
